Prefab ice cream sandwiches: Coming soon to L.A.?

Coachella-goers got a preview of Coolhaus ice-cream sandwiches in the shape of trendy modern prefab houses, according to CurbedLA. The Coolhaus website says the ice cream truck will be hitting the streets of Los Angeles this summer, proving my prediction a few months ago of many more cool food trucks in the coming months. Flavors include the Frank Behry, the Richard Meyer Lemon Ginger and the Mies Vanilla Rohe. Cute.

On the Coolhaus website, why does a Frank Behry look identical to a Richard Meyer Lemon Ginger? Architects have unique styles, and so should these ice cream sandwiches. If possible, the sandwiches should reflect the namesakes. Also, the founders credit Le Corbusier and Geoff Case as their favorite architects, but they didn't make the menu.

yeah, it's kind of gimmicky. It made me start craving a Ruby Jewell sandwich.

does anyone know what these 2x2 ice cream sandwiches go for?

I'm starting to wonder when all these products/restaurants keep saying, "local and organic products whenever possible". What if it's never possible? (as in, what if they really don't want to pay the extra premium for those products..will anyone know?)

I agree with Josh. What's the point of calling them those cute architect names unless they're at least different.

well, not all ice cream sandwiches look like houses. I'm all for a falling water novelty, but at what cost? they sound yummy tho.
