Animal chefs, Giada De Laurentiis at LA Times book festival

The L.A. Times Festival of Books at UCLA April 25 and 26 always has some star cookbook chefs signing and doing cooking demonstrations. Although I wish they would also have a panel on food writing, not just cookbooks, it's still fun to browse each publishers' booth and meet authors at the booths. Here's some of the cooks coming to the festival:
Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook, who were just named among the best new chefs by Food & Wine magazine, will do a demonstration for their book "Two Dudes, One Pan."
Bon Appetit editor Barbara Fairchild will interview Giada De Laurentiis, author of “Everyday Italian,”Giada De Laurentiis.
Other cooking demonstrations are from Curtis Stone, Author of “Relaxed Cooking with Curtis Stone, Jeff Henderson, Author of “Cooked” and “Chef Jeff Cooks,” Jamie Purviance, Author of “Weber’s Way to Grill” and Katie Lee Joel, Author of “The Comfort Table.”
Get more information on authors and panels at Festival of Books website.

I loved the Two Dudes cooking (toking) show on Food Network and look forward to seeing them live. Thanks for the heads-up Pat!
