Chowhound's most inveterate gourmet diner
Russkar reports that South Pasadena's
Bistro K will soon change hands, with chef Laurent Quenioux opening a new place in Los Angeles. Hopefully Angelenos will be ready to experience his rather startling style of French cooking, with dishes like confit of duck gizzards, rabbit albondigas soup and poached veal tongue. And expect the new owners in South Pas to revert to a more crowd-pleasing menu, most likely.

Since May 1 is the last day, so I hope to squeeze in a visit this final week before it moves further away from me. It's been on my "to do" list for this year, anyways.
