here. First honey and then moonshine, I wonder what else is being made in Echo Park? In the picture above, you can see a lovely honey and cheese pairing that Mary Ellen arranged -- a nice thing to try at home, n'est-ce pas?

I loved your piece and wrote Leslie Brenner to say so. The LATimes food section has so veered away from local people (remember "Great Home Cooks"?) and that's a shame. This was just a breath of fresh air.
Actually I don't think bee-keeping is a zoning violation any more than chickens--the same 25 feet rule, I believe.
