Thai food fight on Squid Ink!

Spicy BBQ's Khao soi

Maybe this is inside baseball, but there's an amusing comment war over on Squid Ink's post about chef Jet Tila and his Las Vegas restaurant Wazuzu. I enjoyed Jet's Thai cooking class at the New School of Cooking, but I'm going to have to side with Jonathan Gold here: it seems insane to talk about Las Vegas not having any decent Thai food without mentioning Lotus of Siam. But Spicy BBQ has been accused of using fake creamer in it's Khao Soi...so take that, Jet.
Yes folks, this is the sort of thing some of us obsess over.

OOoohhhh, I've been injured...lol...before this becomes an amusing comment war...let me chime in. At the end of the day...it's MY opinion that I'm sticking too... I didn't think this would be that interesting to some...

See, opinions are called opinions because it's one person's (in this case Jet) feeling about a certain person, thing, subject...restaurant food. Opinions can't be facts because facts are either right or wrong. The former is subjective. The latter is objective. Okay, lesson of the day.

Jet has his opinion. From my experience, Jet has a very well-educated opinion, so I trust him.

You have your opinion. I don't know you, so I can't trust yours. But that's okay.

Jonathan Gold has his opinion too. I don't know him but I've tried some of his recommendations. I'll say I don't trust his opinions completely. But this is okay too.

Let's be friends.

How many of these comments came from the same IP address? They certainly have the same writing style.
