Lemongrass Vietnamese coming to Echo Park

This looks like the same Lemongrass that's in Eagle Rock. Directly across from the A-Grocery Warehouse Vietnamese market on Sunset Blvd, it's right next to the minimall space that once housed a Chinese vegetarian restaurant that was much beloved back in the day when there were very few restaurant choices in Silver Lake and Echo Park. It's kind of odd how there's this tiny concentration of Vietnamese/Cambodian/Chinese businesses (including the ominous looking Phnom Penh Restaurant) in the middle of Echo Park, since I don't see much of a Vietnamese population in the area. Anyone know why?

as a vegetarian i am really not a fan of Lemongrass- no matter how close it is to where i live, there are better places to get Vietnamese in Atwater 10 minutes away. Viet Noodle beats the socks off of Lemongrass, and so does Indochine for that matter.

i think they're also expanding the original location and putting a yogurt concept in there too. I walked by it the other night.

Oh my God, the Bhodi Tree - I loved their taro cakes! Why oh why did it close?
