Pop-ups for new Eagle Rock restaurant Little Beast, LQ@Barneys and Kali Dining in July

First closer to home, then on to the Westside...
Little Beast is a restaurant project planned for Eagle Rock from Sean Lowenthal of Chateau Marmont and his wife Deborah Schwartz. Little Beast is set to pop-up at Le Petit Beaujolais on July 17 and 18.Follow Little Beast on Twitter for more info on the latest addition to Eagle Rock's dining scene.

Kali Dining
Chef Kevin Meehan's Kali Dining is returning to L.A. with a Culver City location from July 11 to July 29, at $65 for five courses. It's BYOB. Here's KevinEats' report of a dinner with Meehan, formerly of Cafe Pinot.

a selection from chef Quenioux
Chef LQ
Chef Laurent Quenioux takes his show west July 9 and 10 to Barney Greengrass in Beverly Hills.
The cheese cart will return, and wine pairings are available from Jill Bernheimer from DomaineLA.
Make reservations here for LQ@Barneys, at $50 for five or so courses. Expect ingredients like geoduck, rabbit tartare, Tosaka ice cream (with a seafood course!), something called la ratte that had better not involve a rodent, and compressed wild strawberries.

Well Petit Beaujolais was mediocre, but for a long time it was the best spot for breakfast in Eagle Rock (pre- Auntie Em's, pre-Four Cafe, pre...)

Unless I misunderstood and they're sharing the space...?

I think they're sharing the space. And Petit Beaujolais is still a good spot for breakfast. Auntie Em's is overrated, and Four Cafe opens too late for breakfast.
