Veggies, and more: Pasadena gets a CSA

The Market on Holly is partnering with Silver Lake Farms to create what is possibly Pasadena's first Community Support Agriculture program.
For $30 a week, members will receive at least 12 different items including fresh local sustainable produce and Market on Holly gourmet items like homemade soups or cheeses.
A 6 or 12 week commitment, depending on whether you get the basket weekly or bi-weekly, is asked for. Members pick up their baskets (which comes with reusable Market on Holly bag), on Fridays between 5 p.m and 7 p.m.

To become a member of the CSA, call The Market on Holly at 626.844.8811 or email csa@themarketonholly.com.

I love my CSA. They have different boxes to choose from and allow me to customize the box i choose. They deliver it right to my house, it is awesome. The taste of the fruits and veggies are so fresh and delicious, way better than the store, and i love that it comes right from the farm and i am supporting organic farming. i signed up at www.farmfreshtoyou.com and used promotional code 6008 and got a discount.
